The applications of Therban® result from its above-described properties. Resistance to heat, oil, chemicals, and ozone, a high level of mechanical properties, and superior abrasion resistance make Therban® uniquely suited to applications in aggressive environments. The main fields of application are the automotive, mechanical engineering, and oil industries. Resistance to many aggressive media means that the service lives of rubber articles based on Therban® are several times longer than those of rubber articles based on conventional elastomers.
