State-of-the-art Process Control
In the final construction phase of the plant, the emphasis was on process control systems. From the control room located on the east side of the complex, chip-card authorized employees will run the whole production process.
Besides the computerized process control system based on more than 2,100 PCS points all over the plant, the center is equipped with three video monitors connected to a total of eleven cameras placed all over the plant. They allow for on-line visual control of specific production steps such as Perbunan NT unpacking and grinding
Directly over the control room, electric backed systems are installed in the central switch room. A variety of Instruments and control systems have been set up, connected, adjusted and tested in this room.
Due to a state-of-the-art communication system, all employees working in the plant are able to set up a direct dialogue with the control center via headset and mobile phone.
